Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your information.
Last updated: October 15, 2026
Aroven ("Aroven", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Aroven fitness platform, including our website at https://www.aroven.fit, native iOS and Android apps, and web.aroven.fit(collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information we collect
We collect information in the following categories:
Account and authentication information
When you sign up or log in, we may collect:
- Email address: used to create your account and, when you choose email sign-in, to send one-time passcodes (OTP) for verification.
- Google account information: if you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile details that Google shares with us, such as your name, email address, and profile picture, according to your Google account settings and the permissions you grant.
- Authentication metadata: such as sign-in timestamps and the method used (email OTP or Google).
We do not receive or store your Google password. OTP codes are used only to verify your email during sign-in and are not retained as passwords.
Fitness and wellness information you provide
Depending on how you use the Service, this may include workout logs, nutrition entries, body metrics, progress photos, daily check-ins, goals, notes, and other content you choose to record.
Coach and client information
If you connect with a coach or manage clients as a coach, we process information needed for that relationship, such as assignments, adherence, messages, and shared progress, as configured in the app.
Usage and device information
We may collect technical information about how you access the Service, including through our iOS app, Android app, or website, such as device type, operating system, app version, browser, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and app interaction data (such as pages or features used and error logs).
Communications
If you contact us (for example at hi@aroven.fit), we collect the information you provide in your message.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Authenticate you via email OTP or Google Sign-In and keep your account secure
- Provide workout, nutrition, and progress tracking features
- Enable coach-client features when you or your coach use them
- Send service-related messages, such as sign-in codes and account notices
- Improve, maintain, and troubleshoot the Service
- Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms of Service
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your health or fitness data for third-party advertising.
3. Authentication providers
Email OTP. When you sign in with email, we send a one-time code to the address you provide. The code expires after a short period and is used solely to verify that you control that email address.
Google Sign-In. Google processes your sign-in according to Google's Privacy Policy. We receive only the account information Google makes available to us for authentication and account setup. You can review or revoke Aroven's access to your Google account through your Google Account permissions settings.
4. How we share information
We may share information in these situations:
- With your coach or clients: when you join a coaching relationship or share data within the app, relevant information is visible as designed by the product and your choices.
- Service providers: we use trusted vendors to help operate the Service (for example, hosting, email delivery for OTP codes, authentication, analytics, and customer support). They may access information only to perform services for us and are expected to protect it.
- Legal and safety: we may disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Aroven, our users, or others, or to investigate fraud or security issues.
- Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain data for legal, security, or backup purposes.
6. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you
- Export your data where the Service provides that option
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
You can update much of your profile and fitness data in the app. For other requests, contact us at hi@aroven.fit. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
To delete your account and associated data, see Delete your account. For a plain summary of the data and device permissions we use, see Data & Permissions.
You can stop receiving non-essential emails by using unsubscribe links where provided. Service-related messages, such as OTP codes and security alerts, are necessary to operate your account.
8. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. International users
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different data protection laws. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred and processed as described in this policy.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
